Ignite United Methodist Church is a multicultural congregation committed to spreading God’s love. Ignite UMC family envisioned that through God’s Grace, we would Go, Grow, and Glow.
GO – in mission to the community and the world to proclaim and spread the Good News of God’s Love and Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Go and make disciples for the transformation of the world.
GROW – in knowledge, love, and faith in Jesus through worship, small groups, and meditations. Grow in generous giving to church and mission. Grow in fellowship with one another.
GLOW – and be the light of the world in diverse and passionate worship. Glow in good works to the community by involvement and genuine service to people. Amen

Meet our Pastor
Pastor Roeline Ramirez is a Filipina with a deep passion for serving the Lord, which she has embraced since her youth. In the early years of her ministry, she focused primarily on leading children and youth groups. She also engaged in evangelism and community service while volunteering in various positions within the church. These experiences allowed her to develop skills in cooperative decision-making, teamwork, and building relationships with others.
After moving to America, she sensed God’s call for her to become a pastor. In July 2023, she was appointed to serve at Ignite UMC as Licensed Local Pastor. Since then, her cheerful disposition and dedication to service have led to significant growth within the church. In July 2025, she will also begin her appointment at Trinity UMC in Rahway in addition to Ignite UMC. Pastor Wee, as her friends call her, firmly believes that, with God’s empowerment, she will fulfill the ministries entrusted to her.
On May 18, 2025, she was commissioned as a provisional elder during the GNJ Annual Conference. She is grateful for this journey and looks forward to being ordained in the near future. Pastor Roeline earned her Master of Divinity from Drew Theological School and graduated in May 2024.
Her sermons reflect her faith, hope, and love for Jesus Christ. Her vision is to lead the congregation in growing together in Christ by encouraging each member to participate in God’s mission and to serve as channels of God’s love, mercy, justice, and blessings to all.
